Ted Stoddard's 1980 Harley Davidson

Ted Stoddard, owner of S&S Auto Recon in Oceanside, was looking for a motorcycle to build and found a basket case on Craig's List. The bike parts came in 4 plastic bins with a frame. When he sorted through it all, all the parts were there for a complete bike, and it even had an extra motor. Ted enlisted the help of his friend Mike Olson to rebuild the motor for the bike, in exchange for that extra motor. A win- win situation. Afterwards Mike did all the fabrication to turn the stock FL into a hard tail chopper and Ted handled all of the paint, body work, and polishing on the aluminum.

Other mods, accessories, cool parts, etc: THE SEAT WAS A TOUGH ONE, THIS SEAT IS THE RESULT OF 3 TRYS, VERY HAPPY WITH IT.

Any building or riding story or info you'd like to include: THE BIKE WAS IN 4 PLASTIC BOXES WHEN I GOT IT. I COUNTED ALL THE PARTS AND BROUGHT IT HOME. AFTER ALL WAS SAID AND DONE, ONE YEAR AND 2 MONTHS LATER, THIS IS THE FINSHED PRODUCT.
