Kutty Noteboom's "Plum Smuggler"

Few bikes have gotten as much press in recent months as Kutty Noteboom's Plum Smuggler, and for good reason. With loads of epic '60s-style bikes coming out of the woodwork, this lawn dart of a digger sticks out like a boner in church pants.

In early 2009 Kutty and his friend Duane Ballard challenged each other to build wild-ass choppers. Their reasons were to buck current building trends, and because both guys share heavy respect for the men who built the bikes that came before theirs. For his Pink Taco Duane chose his usual donor: a CB750. Of course, Kutty picked a slab shovel for the Plum Smuggler.
