Custom Haley Davidson motorcycle

Jeff Cochran's 1978 Harley Davidson

Jeff Cochran founded Sucker Punch Sally's in 2002 and soon partnered with his good friend Donny Loos. In 2006 the manufacturing side of the business was moved to Phoenix to allow Jeff to get back to his first love: rehabbing old Shovels and Pans. Fast forward to 2010, Cochran is back in his own new shop SpeedKing/Jeff Cochran Solo in Cincinatti, Ohio. Along with building bikes, Jeff also shoots bikes and cars for publications around the globe. This bike is the first creation to come out of his new shop, hence the name "Solo."

Most Chop Cult bike features are shot in back alleys or muddy fence lines at events, so having quality images like this is a welcome treat. Not only did Jeff build the bike, but he shot these studio images as well.

Fork: Late model 39mm Narrowglide, trees cleaned up and lower legs turned

Chassis mods: SpeedKing Rigid Conversion tail section

Tire/wheel size and style: 17" rear with 90 on 10 off tread; 21" front with Scorpion

Favorite thing about this bike: It has a perfect stance and it handles great

Other mods, accessories, cool parts, etc: I machined everything I could out of stainless instead of mild steel. All foot controls, pegs, linkage, levers and handles are made of stainless. The bike has been painted two times. The first was a flame job that really sucked and was too flashy; it pulled the eye away from all the cool handiwork
