These reproduction Star Hubs are set up with modern style Timken bearings which are a massive improvement over the stock needle bearings. Preload is set at the factory and all other specs remain true to the original. Matte black powder coat finish.
Hub features 11/16" straight bearings on both sides. For use with with original style stepped axles, installer will have to fabricate axles sleeves. If required, order sleeve for 1941-1957 rigid models. Hub accepts 11/16" (.6875") axles.
