In every walk of life, connections are made, and some flourish into friendships over the years. What starts off as a simple comment or sharing of one's work can blossom into a working relationship.

I rode in a group of 20 or more through the middle of Baja California nearing the end of May. The sun beat down over my black helmet with temperatures well over 110 degrees.

To capture the true essence of Born-Free you have to walk the whole show. You can't just walk by the main stage, the featured builders corral, and the vendor’s booths.  The grime, dirt and absolute freedom can be found in the never-ending rows of motorcycles: the real stars of Born-Free. 

I have become pretty good friends with Michael Schrickel from Chop Machine over the last couple of years.

The Gypsy Run is one of the gnarliest runs I have ever been on. With this being only my second year, I wanted to learn a little more about the history of the Run, since it has been going on for 8 years. I had a chance to have a one on one phone interview with my friend Walter Gemeinhardt, the organizer of The Gypsy Run. Enjoy!

I've been accused of concentrating on the character of the person that I feature here. My thought process has always been to showcase a person in the light they deserve. I would hate to shine the light on a person who didn't have a good and true character.

The end of July always marks a time of celebration on my calendar. Dusty Ciborosky and Justin Mulry, from Showclass Magazine, are based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Over the past few years, they have put together one of the gnarliest parties one could ever imagine called Hood Bush.

The Lowbrow Getdown was a crazy whirlwind of a party this year. Like years prior, it took place at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Garrettsville, Ohio on July 11th and 12th. The weekend at the park was double booked and there was a music rave happening on the other side of the campground at the same time.

On May 17, 2014 there was only one place to be in Ohio and that was at PINNED in Columbus. PINNED gives me that feeling of a new beginning to a year of adventure and fun. No more seasonal depression from what felt like one of the longest winters ever.
