Tamiami Tyrants Custom Cycles is small shop in Naples, a little beach town bordering the western edge of Florida's Everglades. Tyler Mullins and his brother Bryan run the show, and both guys chip in on the custom builds that roll out of Tyler's family-owned business. Tyler opened his shop in 2011. According to Tyler, the motorcycle scene isn’t very big in Naples, so everything he learned about building Harleys came the hard way: first-hand trial and error experience.
With a little help from his brother and the Internet Tyler soon learned no problem was too big to tackle. Most of Tamiami Tyrants’ work consists of complete builds, usually shovelheads, with several bikes being sold through a shop owned by a friend of Tyler’s in Yokohama, Japan. The bike shown here won Best Flathead at Willie’s Tattoo Parlor in Daytona Beach last year. Since then Tyler’s been riding the piss out of it all over the Sunshine state.
