Inside the ROOT Studios in Brooklyn, NY, custom motorcycles from all over were parked in the sparse, studio environment. Uncluttered by displays and other frills, any spectator could walk right up and admire a world-class machine from all angles. The crowd easily filtered back and forth through the cramped vendor room, Asahi bar, the gallery and back to the street out front where hundreds of hand-built choppers lined the entire block. Several bands jammed throughout the day, tattoo artists were busy and as always, pre-parties, after-parties and all sorts of activities combined to make a one-day event feel like it lasted all weekend. Mix that artsy/party vibe with the fun of riding one of the most intense cities in the world and you've got a weekend of chopper fun that's hard to beat.
