Sometimes to gain closure you have to BLOW IT UP!

Saturday a few of Larry's good buddy's and myself finally got some much needed closure.
Thank you will never be enough for y'all staying by side & helping me get through this.
I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Side note: We mixed 2 different batches of tannerite. Every guy unloaded at least one clip trying to shoot the 2nd batch.
I was the only person who was able to hit it...AND I hit it FIRST shot!!!!
Guess some things are just meant to be...

YES! He mixed it with his HAND!

Checking to make sure a meth lab didn't blow up!

She'd never shot a gun...and by the end of the day she shot an AR!

 Boom!

From Our Friends at Iron & Resin

From our friends at @ironandresin - There seems to be no end in sight to the fires here. So many families have lost everything in our communities. 150,000 acres and over 750 homes lost and they’ve only been able to survey about half of the area, so that number will most definitely climb. And the fire is only 15% contained. We’re so grateful for the firefighters and emergency personnel that have saved countless lives and homes over the past week. The outpouring of support from friends and strangers has been nothing short of amazing. Neighbors helping neighbors. Complete strangers jumping in with shovels, hoses and chainsaws to help anywhere they can. Folks distributing masks and water to anyone and everyone. So many examples of our community rallying to help. Now it’s our turn. So many of you have reached out asking how you can help. We’ll be setting up a temporary command post next to our Ventura store to as a donation and distribution center for essential items for those families in need. We’re reaching out to brands, retailers, and equipment rental facilities for donations of batteries, walkie talkies, power stations, generators, flashlights, lanterns, protective gear - eyewear, suits and footwear, gasoline (full cans for generators, demo tools, etc. Alternatively, we’ve started a GoFundMe account so folks can just donate funds which will be used to purchase some of these items and provide aid to those families most in need. We’ll also be stocking the InR Mothership as a pop up distribution facility to deliver aid and coordinate volunteer efforts in the areas most affected. We’d love to get volunteers and will be coordinating efforts through our temporary command post in Ventura. Email dylan@ironandresin.com for more information on how you can help. Or click on the GoFundMe link in our profile. Together we can make a difference. Please repost and share. #venturastrong #helpcalifornia #thomasfire #chopperfest #ironandresin P: @dylangordon

We would like to thank you for using the classified section to sell your wares. We would like to ask that when your item sells, please mark your listing as sold or delete it from your profile. We can also eliminate the sold items from the back end of the website. This small request will help reduce unnecessary banter between you and the possible buyer / seller. We appreciate your membership and help. Happy selling and buying!

Fuel Cleveland 2018 Builder Series: Austin Andrella - Austin Martin Originals

Fuel Cleveland Builder Series Profile:
Name: Austin Andrella
Shop: Austin Martin Originals
Location: Akron, OH
Build: 1975 Norton Commando 850 MKIII

12.13.17 - Intro

Austin Andrella is no rookie to the builder world, showcasing all over the nation and winning countless awards for his beautiful creations. He is quickly becoming a house hold name in the industry as one of the top builders in the nation. His ability to look outside the box with excellent craftsmanship that gives off not only form but function separates his builds from most others. Though his name is getting bigger he still builds right out of his own garage located behind his house in Akron, Ohio. The biggest part that blows all of us away is how he manages his time. How can one build such beautiful bikes all while holding a demanding full time job (traveling all the time) and also being a wonderful husband and father to not 1 but 3 girls!? Austin is just an amazing human being with tons of talent and a heart of gold.

Austin told us he was trying to build something different over the winter, a Norton Commando 850. He asked if we wanted to unveil it at Fuel Cleveland, with no hesitation we said hell yeah! If it's anything like his other builds, it will be something crazy but filled with style and an instant classic.

Words from Austin:
My name is Austin Andrella owner of Austin Martin Originals just south of Akron Ohio. I've been building motorcycle since 2003. I'm excited to be back for a third time to Fuel Cleveland. I feel this is one of my all time favorite shows and and not just because its local. There's a real sense of community to hear in Ohio when it comes to motorcycles not to mention Lowbrow Customs always seems to take care of me and a is very supportive of the backyard shops.

This year I will be building a 1975 Norton Commando Mark III. Here are some of the ideas I have planned. The Frame will be equipped with a S4 Ducati single-sided swing arm, Kenio Wheels, modern girder front end. We plan on re-phasing the motor to 270 degrees, bumping it up to a 902 CC. The motor will also be completely Vapor honed like brand new. I'm either going to make split tanks one side gas, one side oil or make the oil tank the tail section; I haven't decided yet. I'm putting an arched back bone and single down tube to make up the frame so I need to figure out where to put the oil tank instead of under the seat because the shock for the swing arm will be there. I also plan on doing a hand clutch/jockey shift combined setup on the left side of the tank. I drew up the mounts to merge the Ducati swing arm on to the frame which will also be equipped with a jackshaft because swing arm too wide for the actual frame, so this oughta be fun. Thanks again to Mikey Arnold, Tyler & Kyle Malinky, Jesse Bassett and everyone at Lowbrow Customs for the opportunity to be a part of this kick-ass show, I'll keep you posted!

Make sure to follow along with Austin and his every move with this build via his Instagram page @austinmartinoriginals. We will also post updates throughout the months leading up to the show of his progress on this thread. We eagerly can't wait for the unveiling of crazy '75 Norton at Fuel Cleveland on July 28th, 2018!

The beginning mock up stages... and yes that is a single side Ducati swingarm.

Bending the frame top rail.

I started designing and fabbing the new frame with an arched backbone and single down tube.

Another view of what the fame will look like..
