Join us at the Biltwell Blowout on 1/4/2020

Join our friends at Biltwell for the Biltwell Blowout on Saturday, January 4th, at the Lake Elsinore Storm Stadium. Be sure to swing by the ChopCult booth. I love meeting fellow members! -Lisa

From Biltwell - After seven years of holding this shindig in our parking lot, we've definitely outgrown it. The new location at Lake Elsinore Storm Stadium has a ton more room so we can have more vendors, a real stunt show, better food and more bike parking. Every year we have left over samples, scratch-and-dent helmets, returned merchandise and ever-growing piles of our own motorcycle parts and take-offs. The Blowout is like our pop-up outlet store where we discount deep to move the metal. We'll also have some cool motorcycles and cars on display along with several food and coffee vendors.

GENERAL ADMISSION: $5
There is fee to get into the Blowout of $5.00 per person. This helps cover the additional insurance and everything else required to make it a legitimate and safe event. The five bucks will be collected in cash at the entry point to the event. Active duty military with ID get in free. Kids under 12 are also free. There's plenty of parking in the adjacent stadium parking lot and that's free too. We will be accepting credit cards and cash at the Biltwell tent, but most of our other vendors will prefer cash.

VENDOR SPOTS: $100
Our friends and customers like to get in on the vending action too and with the new location we can fit way more of you! If you'd like to reserve a 10x40' space, please do that in advance by clicking that green on the right side of this page that says Register. If you would like a spot bigger than 40' long, please email otto@biltwellinc.com and he will get ya handled for an additional cost. Go here to reserve your vendor space.

Harley K Model Gear Cover

-52 Casting Number (NOT -52A)  It won't work on a Sportster with one-piece shaft/generator idler gear.  This is for the K Model engine only (maybe a 1957 XL still had an idler shaft (like a 45 or a big twin)?

"Your job in this democratic process is to select the 13 builders/bikes that will advance to the next level. Please read through each candidate's latest update here, visit their instagram accounts and decide who you think it worthy.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of this page, pick your favorite 13 and hit the Submit button. Yes, you have to pick 13, so you can't just vote for your best friend and then bounce. We can tell if you try to game the system and cast multiple votes, so don't try, the votes will only get deleted.

Thanks for voting!

We will announce the 13 semi-finalists sometime Monday the 18th on Instagram and Facebook: @biltwell_peoples_champ and @biltwell" - Biltwell

Welcome ZEPP HEADS to the Chopper Fest

We want to welcome the Led Zeppelin tribute band ZEPP HEADS to the 16th Annual David Mann Chopper Fest. They deliver a hard-rocking concert experience with classics like "Black Dog," "Lemon Song," and "Kashmir." No costumes, just sharing their love for Led Zeppelin music.

White Boy in Mexico

Above and Below: Ek Balam and the Mayan world . . .

Valladolid

Last month I went to the Yucatan and stayed in Valladolid for a few days, then hiked Ek Balam and went to few cenotes.  I like to stay near Punta Sur (on the south end)of Isla Mujeres too.  This gal at Playa Norte was doing maintenance on her scooter in the street.  Fixing corroded connections, making sure the lights worked, etc.  She bought it new, it was stolen a few times, lost for almost 6 months on one occasion, but she always got it back.  Nice gal.  Everyone I meet in Quintana Roo and Yucatan are nice.  Someday I'll take my WLA down there and get lost for a few years.  I love it there.
