Hatebeak.

Hatebeak is a death metal band, formed by Blake Harrison, Mark Sloan, and Waldo, a 21-year-old Congo African Grey Parrot. Hatebeak is the only band to have an "avian" vocalist.[1]
The band members do not use their last names on their releases "for the mystery".[citation needed] Hatebeak also does not tour so as to not torture the bird.[citation needed] Hatebeak is strictly a studio project with unintelligible lyrics and no melody.[2] They are currently signed to Reptilian Records.
Their sound has been described as "a jackhammer being ground in a compactor."[3] Aquarius Records magazine called Hatebeak "furious and blasting death metal".[2] Hatebeak made their second record with Caninus, a band whose lead singer is two dogs.[2] Hatebeak's goal is to "raise the bar for extreme music".[2]

QUAKING ASPEN (pt.3)

Fish brought out one of the few remaining 4 1/2 year old bottles of his Apple Pie Moonshine to toast our dear friend Arturo who passed away June 20th. He wouldn't have been able to make this trip as he was set to sail out to sea on the 21st., but he'll now travel with us on every trip we make in our heart and memories. Love you Arturo!

The freedom to get out of the city and go put to use what motorcycles where meant to be used for, beautiful scenery, escaping the endless congestion of city traffic, and feeling the winds across your face (even if it's 100 degrees through the hell of Bakersfield, it's better than the parking lots of Los Angeles). You don't have to have a product to sell or overpriced food vendors to visit, when you've got whispering pines to tell you stories of their existence amongst the clouds, good friends, and a cooler full of ice cold beverages. Doing this isn't rocket science. Put it together, make it happen.

2016 Born Free Show Wrap Up

Every year I try to find a new way to say "Overwhelming" when describing this show. The sheer number of bikes of this caliber assembled in one single place is simply a thing to behold. Anyone who thinks choppers are dead must've missed the memo because there was a metric shit ton of them at Born Free 8. Organizers added new stuff like the FXR show, Wall of Death and Camp Born Free, which all added to the excitement. It felt like the crowd was bigger this year, but somehow the vibe was mellower. Might be because we had a smaller booth in a different spot, but whatever the reason, our whole crew had fun and we're already talking about next year. Enjoy some pics...

Art's TACO MOTO TUESDSAY Memorial at the V Room, Long Beach

We'll always remember you Art!
{insert the biggest heart emoji in the world here}
So great to see so many people ride out this week in honor of Arturo's memory. We overfilled the bar (thanks to the V Room in Long Beach for allowing us to host this there) and the taco stand across the street! I'll never forget you Art. You were one special dude, and as often as you thanked us for helping you, it was you who was truly our most amazing friend! I'm gonna miss you.

2016 Show Class People's Champ Party at Cook's Corner

A great way to ease into what has become the greatest custom motorcycle show in the country is to spend Friday night at Cook's Corner. Show Class magazine hosts this getdown every year and the six final People's Champ bikes are proudly displayed. Everyone at the party gets to cast a vote for their favorite bike and that builder gets to put his machine on display with the rest of the Invited Builders at Born Free the next day. Chopper democracy, hell yeah! We've been proud sponsors of this since day one and it is always a good time. This year was no slouch and Cook's was packed with neat bikes and rowdy folks. The People's Champ entries were all top notch, the beer was cold, the girls were hot and in the end, Daril Borba made Central California proud with the win.
