Feeling Lucky, Feeling Honored

After 17 years in the Design Department at Ford Motor Company (a company which is, and will always be, very close to my heart) I have decided to make a move to another company which is as close to my heart, but perhaps a little closer to my soul - Harley-Davidson.  In early February I will be joining the Design Department at H-D as it's new Director. I cannot express in words the feelings I have for both leaving Ford and joining Harley-Davidson. It was not an easy decision to make and I never took it lightly. I have walked away from everything I built for myself and my team at Ford and I will miss it all I'm sure - especially every one of my friends in the PD department. Some of you are as close to me as siblings and I will forever be honored to call you my friends. To all of you, I'm sure we will meet again a little further down the road...

Congratulations!! What a dream job!!

I only have your blog posts over the last few years to judge and I must say your eye is sharp. Are you filling the position once held by Willie G?

Congratulations! I'm in the middle of a career change myself. Exciting times for sure. Looking forward to some old school inspired models coming out of the Company! Good luck in your transition! ~Sicks
