Vote for the ChopCult Champion

Zach and I would like to thank everyone who submitted their work for consideration. We know it’s hard to put yourself out there, only to have others judge your craft. The task of eliminating some was very stressful, as all of the submissions were top notch. You’re all winners in our book and we appreciate your time and talent.

Without further ado, here is your Top 5.

I am a self taught painter and a one man shop working almost exclusively with House of Kolor and 1 Shot paints. I offer pinstriping, gold leaf, lettering, illustration, flake and candy paint, and clean or distressed finishes. I have painted for a living for the past 4 years. I strive for perfection on all of my jobs whether they are big or small and consider myself very lucky to be able to do this for a living. Thanks!

Shawn Long - Imperial House

Location of shop: Sparta, IL

Years painting: 8-ish

Hello, my name is Shawn Long, and my company is Imperial House. The reason I chose the name Imperial House, was to insure that the name had the depth to represent any path I chose to take it. Being an artist, I enjoy all facets of creating, and strive to challenge myself with each new project. Helping customers bring their ideas to reality, is very gratifying. What started as a freehand pinstriping adventure, has now grown to a full scale paint and fabrication shop. I've had people ask me how many people work at Imperial House, and my answer is always the same; it's just me, trying to do some cool shit while on this journey called life. Located in Southern Illinois, I strive to create one-off originals, whether it be on canvas, a gas tank or helmet, or even in the form of a ground up motorcycle build. My goal for Imperial House is to continue to specialize in traditional paint and styling, while not getting smothered by trends. Hope you enjoy.

Casey Walkwitz - Half Case Kustoms

Location of shop: Springfield, MA

Years painting: 10 years airbrushing

Half Case Kustoms aspires to be a little different. We specialize in custom artwork on just about anything, but our passion lies with garage built chops, hot rods, and lowbrow art. Up until recently all of our work has been done using airbrushes but paint medium crossing over from the graffiti art scene has influenced a new style and flair in our artwork.

Casey Johnson - Headcase Kustom Art

Location of shop: Azusa, Ca

Years painting: 8 years.

I have been painting for about 8 years and operating HKA for 3 years. I offer a custom one off paint job with a 70's/ lowrider feel and 100% show quality whether it's going crazy or restoration paint. This is how I support my family so I take what I do very seriously and with a lot of pride. I've spent many years paying my dues and have worked for some of the best in the biz! This is not my hobby and with that comes professionalism unmatched by the hobbiest painter.
