The Shovelheads of Born Free 3

One word kept popping up after this year's Born Free event in Orange County: overwhelming. The show has grown every year, and BF3 was massive. The bike show area was a huge lawn on which several hundred custom motorcycles lined up to shine in the sun… or not.

To digest so many high-caliber bikes in one day, we focused on little missions: shoot Japanese bikes, shoot Sporties, shoot sissy bars, that sort of thing. Here's a fine collection of shovelheads, arguably the most popular platform at America's premier custom motorcycle show.

At least I know that my short, wideglide frontend won't be what I see on every other bike.....I love the ratrod shovel with the VL springer and wishbone frame, any more pics of that one?? Your fav was pretty obvious.....if you've ever ridden a bike with the pipes dumping right under your ass.........what did you say??......what??? I can't HEAR YOU!!!!!!! FTW, Shooter
