The Arizona Dirtbag

Many moons ago, I was riding my cow pony north through the cool, brisk Arizona territory. Under the cactus moon that shined like a golden nugget, my pipes heated up like a branding iron as I passed the river's edge. Suddenly I hit a rusty nail. When I pulled to a stop a surly wench wearing a red garter with hair as dark as a bay horse approached me from a hut and asked me for a wooden nickel. Stunned, I was a bashful bandit that knew I could get to her dugout if I only had a c-note.

Sorry—my mind always wanders when I'm out on my Dirtbag barhoppin'. In Tecson, anything can happen. Vaudville!

We have no idea what any of this means, but Jim wrote it, and it's his bike.

Here's some real info on this fine unit.

Owner name: Jim Allendorf

Location: Tucson, AZ

Bike name: The Arizona Dirtbag

Engine year, make and model; modifications: 2006 88 c.i. Accurate Engineering Panhead

Frame: Spartan Frameworks

Favorite thing about this bike: Everything. It's motherfucking agressive.

Next modification will be: The seat. Maybe some paint. Time will tell

Other mods, accessories, cool parts, etc:
It's a chopper—everything is modified. Everything's cool, except the gay seat

For those not in the know or not from Tucson, Jim's tirade at the front name drops a lot of infamous watering holes here in T-town AZ, apparently as an homage to this nimble looking bar hopping death machine. Spartan Frameworks is here as well. Always love the rare glimpse of one of George's masterpieces flyin' down the asphalt. This one's a real beauty, too. George's forks just HAVE to be the toughest looking ones out there! Good job, Jim. Hope to see you out there.

The hammer is an interesting touch. Wonder how the grannies react to the tank lettering.

Commented on 11-7-2009 At 08:15 pm

Damn nice ride. Hey, when you start playing with seats, PLEASE, just consider an old sixties banana style, one that runs right up to and follows that great sissie bar. Just my opinion, and like assholes, everyone has one.

That bike runs great, too. He chased me through the backroads of New Mexico on the GZ run for about 60 miles at 85-90mph.

I met Jim at the Slab City Riot this weekend. He is good people and willing to talk about his fine machine. I got to see this thing run the next morning, and it's more awsome in person! And I think the new seat looks better, glad you got a good deal on it!!

Commented on 11-24-2009 At 08:58 am

I think Jim was afraid I might steal this fine machine.......I also got to meet the fella at Slab City and just couldn't get enough of this beauty.
