Focus: Short Chop's Shovel

You might know ShortChop from this board, but you may not have seen his bike. Bursting with details, his cone shovel is no cookie cutter, but a hand-built deathtrap. We cornered ShortChop on a recent weekend and grabbed some details and photos.

Why a California plate if it's a Nevada bike? Seems completely backwards to me. Other than that, sweet bike.

Commented on 2-2-2010 At 01:03 am

The bike is badazz!!! I'm really interested in how big of a bitch it is to run the throttle and clutch from the right side grip...

Commented on 2-2-2010 At 05:35 am

Really like the front tank mount, clean. The polish finish on those fork bottoms is impressive too!

Commented on 2-2-2010 At 08:02 pm

That isn't the clutch on the right side grip. There is a throttle and a front brake. The clutch appears to be foot operated with the shifter up by the tank.

Kidding, right?

And the winner is h8ter!! (bout the clutch) About the CA lic plates, Nevada was giving me a hard time on the title. Its titled as a 52 HD, NV said NO. Cuz it has a 76 motor. So I keep the plates in Cali. But after finding a DMV guy in Vegas. I finally got my 52 HD title and NV plates.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words.
