The El Camino Motorcycle Swap Meet celebrated it's 35th annual event last weekend. In Southern California we are spoiled with good weather and a wealth of outdoor swaps, but this one is my personal favorite. No Sham-Wow! vendors and more rusty old gold than any other weekend. This year's event felt a little light on choppers and chopper stuff, but there were still plenty of happy shoppers and vendors swapping parts and slingin' bikes.
This swap brings out more complete bikes than the Long Beach Swap, so it's pretty easy to pick up a runner or a project. Since Marshal and the crew also host a multi-category bike show complete with persnickety judges and shiny trophies, El Camino always brings out a wide range of high-quality vintage machines, many of them pre-war and perfect. Here are some pics for your enjoyment.
