Flathead Jedd and his Eponymous Bobber

With a name like Flathead Jedd, you'd expect the man to have a proper flatty. Jedd's knowledge of old Harleys runs deep, and his side-valve shows it. In an era where everything that's missing a front fender is referred to as a "bobber," it's nice to actually see a real one.

Owner name: Flathead Jedd
Location: Pacoima, CA
Engine, year and make, model: 1947 Harley Davidson UL
Frame: Harley-Davidson Bull Neck
Fork: Harley springer
Chassis mods: None
Tire/wheel size and style: 18-inch front and rear
Favorite thing about this bike: It's mine
Next modification will be: More patina, because I ride this mother
Other mods, accessories, cool parts, etc: Flanders risers, Hellings and Stellings Bars, Chicago grips, Atlas hub cap, custom pipes
Thanks to: Wes White of Four Aces, Chopper Dave for trading my Van for the wheels,  the Wing Nuts for riding with me

Another killer bike posted on ChopCult...that's about as close to the definition of a period "Classic Bobber" as it gets...absolutely beautiful bike!!!

I've been wanting a Flathead for a long time, and when I see one as nice as this one, it makes me want my own even more!!!
