Given David Mann's preeminence among artists from the chopper scene's glory days, the popularity and overall greatness of the Ventura, CA, bike show and swap meet that bears his name should surprise no one. The David Mann Chopperfest is simply the best event of its kind in SoCal, and a must-see for everyone who loves hand-built, vintage and classic motorcycles.

In the six years since the seminal artist's untimely passing, this eponymous event has become the crown jewel in many a chopper freak's season of big rides and good times.

Its combination of high-quality vendors and Ventura's epic beachfront locale is tough to beat, so the DMCF draws a cavalcade of great bikes in full force.

This December 13th marks the sixth year of the event, so both consumer recognition and vendor support will be sky high. Nearly every major and minor player in the Western US makes the pilgramage to this event, so pickings for cool old parts and innovative new ones are awesome.
