Few brands have synthesized the modern skate and chopper vibe with more heart or success than Loser Machine Company. LMC founder Adrian Lopez may earn a living on a skateboard, but he spends that money where his passion lies, which is firmly in the SoCal bike scene. This Saturday, October 23, Adrian and the rest of his Loser crew will be in full effect in Carlsbad, CA.

To sweeten the visual pot at the second annual Chops & Rods event, LMC's "Destroy The Helmets" art collective will be on display. Destroy The Helmets is a project Adrian and Loser co-founder/GM Kevin Kosha created to bring skate art to the forefront of the modern chopper aesthetic. Fifteen skaters, painters and artists were featured in the first Destroy The Helmets collective, and the project has only grown bigger at subsequent events.

The host venue for this weekend's showing is Hensley's Pub. Another pro skater with an abiding passion for the modern motorcycle scene, Matt Hensley's place is a regular stop for grub and grog among north San Diego bikeriders.

For complete details on this weekend's event, see the listing on the ChopCult events calendar, or visit Loser Machine Co's website.
