2011 Mooneyes Yokohama, Part 3

Here's the third and final installment of Dan Collins' Mooneyes Japan photo pictorial. Thanks again to the owner and master builder at Old Gold Garage Co. in Ventura, California, for shooting these great pictures on his Asian assault.

Does anyone know where to find any pics/writeups/vids of the the bike all the way to the right in the very last pic? That think looks nuts.

Anyone know what's on the spokes on the Triumph in photo 10?

Metalismo, looks like wheel weights used as decorations. Look how the ones on top appear to have slid down.

I've seen something like that on a kids bicycle. When you ride slow they slide towards the hub when they get past 9 o'clock then back to the nipple around 5 o'clock. Once up to speed they stay put. Wonder if it's the same type of tchotchke?

that semi-open primary on the second bike made me poop a little

In final row of photos, that pre unit Triumph mostly-open primary is nice. Because that is 530 chain, and you can see the front motor sprocket is custom, welded up likely with a stock center and a 530 sprocket blank. That clutch basket must have also had the teeth knocked off and a 530 sprocket fitted. It is a lot of work, looks nice!
