Chop Cult - After reading E.D.'s posts on the Jockey Journal (http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=50538) and talking to him via Facebook the past few months, the Never-Readys decided that they would put on a benefit to help a brother out. We are helping him raise money for a trip to the states to obtain liver treatment not available in the UK.<br /><br />Very long story short, we spoke to Jay Dabney (Skip Fordyce HD) to see if they would allow us to hold the event at their location...without hesitation it was on. Next, a few phone calls/details to industry vendors/friends and within a few days the raffle prize giveaways starting piling up! Everyone we spoke to offered up something, no one turned us down. That speaks volumes about our scene, especially in these hard times. It's very humbling to say the least to witness this generosity.<br /><br />You wanna show yer scooter? A $20.00 donation gets you entered into the show (classes= bobber, chop, cafe, or cruiser) which includes TWO FREE raffle tix! The trophies for each class are being hand made by our friend Slim (Slim's Fab). The show will be judged by the supporting vendors, and we'll even have FREE food!<br /><br />Because of everyone's generosity thus far, we have no out of pocket expenses, NONE! That means ALL proceeds from donations, raffles etc will go directly to English Don.<br /><br />We have everything in place, all we need now is attendance, donations, and raffle ticket sales. Please help us, help a brother by making this event a big success.
